BENEFITS OF THE COMMUNION TABLE

 

Text: Proverbs  14:23  In all labor there is profit: but the talk of the lips tended only to penury.

 

Today we want to look at the benefits of communion table.

 

 BENEFIT SIMPLY MEANS

* GAIN,

* PROFIT,

* WAGES,

* AND THE RESULT OR OUTCOME FOR DOING SOMETHING

 

As we kept on feasting, attending and participating in HOLY COMMUNION SERVICES,

what do we stand to gain?

 

1. SPIRITUALITY

 

> 1 Corinthians  10:3  And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

 

 - One of the benefit of participating in communion table, is spirituality.

 

There are few things that defines spirituality,  and if you lack them you are not spiritual.

 

* STABILTY:

 

> Romans 1:11  For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

 

* RESTORATION:

 

> Galaltians 6:1  Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore...

 

* MEEKNESS:

 

> Galatians 6:1  Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness

 

* SERVICE:

 

> Romans 15:27  It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.

 

The first benefit of participating in communion table is spirituality, and spirituality is revealed through

- Stability

- Restoring

- Meekness

- Service

 

2. STRENGTH

 

> Psalms  84:7  They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

 

-Nothing promotes divine strength like constant communion service

 

Divine Strength is that inner'

- Motivation,

- Encouragement,

- Inspiration

- Confidence

- And trust

 

To withstand satanic battles, pressure and attacks

 

> Proverbs  24:10  If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

 

* CONCLUSION:

 

The benefits of communion table cannot be overlooked down, because they are too numerous to be mentioned

 

To always absent from service especially communion table, is to lack spirituality and strength
